Ed & I got our first Saint Bernard in 1968. Caesar came from a combination of Mallen & Powell lines. We lived in the same area as Lou Mallen, von Mallen kennels, and soon visited the kennel on Sundays and we were hooked on the breed forever. Our first dog show was the 1969 National Specialty at the Ryland Inn in Whitehouse, NJ. At the National we saw Ch. Titan von Mallen and knew that was the direction we wanted to go with our Saints. We traveled to the specialties, often with Lou Mallen, and met Saint lovers from all over the country. We showed all over the East at the all breed shows. We've had over 30 champions and many Best in Show Specialty winners as well as the number one Saint in the country from 1983-1986, Ch. Elba's Simeon von Mallen, who was lovingly owned by our son Brandon. He had 19 Specialty wins as well as 11 all breed Best in Shows. He was the top winning group placer in the Hall of Fame. We also have had the honor of owning many top ten Saints
including Ch. Heck's Jon Jon, a multiple group winner, Ch. Baker's Marko von
Mallen, Ch. Ark Barks Carson W Carver, and of course
Ch. We are currently members of Middle Atlantic Saint Bernard Club, Saint Bernard Club of America, Trenton Kennel Club and Morris & Essex Kennel Club. Linda serves as the Saint Bernard Club of America AKC Delegate and is an advisor for the SBCA. We are the owners of Baker Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Princeton, NJ. When not with the dogs or at dog shows you can find us at the dealership. Elba
